Paul Gerhardt Adam forte is his expressive ans cantibile way of singing. His interpretations leave room to feel a text's meaning and to enlarge an audience's listening habits. By concentrating on the relation between music and words, their understandability and handling Paul Gerhardt Adam shows interesting insights into text and music.
Paul Gerhardt Adam was born in Cologne. He studied viola at the Musikhochschule Frankfurt upon Main and followed vocal studies with Richard Levitt, with René Jacobs and Emma Kirkby at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis where he also specialized in medival music, studying as well string instruments of this period with Sterling Jones. At the same time he was engaged in several courses and projects with Andrea von Ramm and Thomas Binkley. Paul Gerhardt Adam regulary gives solo concerts and performs at various music festivals in Europe and Israel including Festival van Vlaanderen, Holland Festival, Israel Festival. He worked togehter with Ensemble Vocal Européen, Philippe Herreweghe, The Bach Ensemble, Joshua Rifkin, Cantus Cölln, Konrad Junghänel, and appeared as soloist under conductors like Dimitri Kitaijenko, Odon Alonso and Andras Schiff. Along with collaborating on various CD and radio productions, he gives courses in voice and performing practice for example at the Rubin Academy of Music Jerusalem or the Koninklijk Konservatorium Den Haag.

Accompaniment |
Dagmar Lübking is considered as a very experienced organist and continuo player. Because she works as well as a choirmaster her accompaniment is wonderfully intuitive.
Born in Duisburg (Germany) Dagmar Lübking studied classical philology and musicology at the Würzburg university before beginning her studies of sacred music in Frankfurt upon Main. After having passed the big examn she started to study organ with Daniel Chorzempa in Basle and Michael Radulescu in Vienna. At the same time she became an organist at the Pauls-Church in Frankfurt (former Nicolai-Church of Frankfurt upon Main). Being a professor at the Frankfurt conservatory she trained many students meanwhile accepted as organists. In 1995 Dagmar Lübking won the third prize at the international organ competition of Pasian di Prato. Radio broadcast and CD productions as well as regulary concerts in all over Germany are part of her activities. Since 1998 Dagmar Lübking is an organist at a protestant church in Hamburg (Germany) where she founded "New concert series of Ancient Music" which intend to perform music with the organ of Jürgen Ahrend, chamber music and cantatas.
